The Premier League transfer window may have shut on Friday but that doesn't mean the business has come to an end for Manchester United.

United had a busy window as six players joined and multiple departed over the course of the summer. The activity is not over just yet, though, as Christian Eriksen, seemingly not in Erik ten Hag's plans, may be allowed to leave with Anderlecht a likely destination. The Belgian side's chief executive, Jesper Fredberg, is eager to sign the ex-Tottenham and Ajax star, reports, having long been interested in him. They may, though, wait until the last days of the Belgian transfer window before making an approach.

In United's opening two games, the 32-year-old was left on the bench and watched his side's indifferent start to their Premier League campaign. Despite the UK's transfer window closing on Friday evening, clubs in the Belgian, Portuguese, Turkish and Saudi Arabian leagues have the luxury of an extended window, which closes on September 6.
